Botanical Heritage

Patchouli Absolute - a tropical perennial herb native to Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Its fragrant leaves have been used for centuries in perfumery, medicine, and cultural rituals. Historically, patchouli leaves were prized for their ability to scent textiles, a practice popular in India and later in Europe during the 19th century, giving rise to the iconic “patchouli-scented fabrics” in Victorian times. It has an Earthy, woody , slightly sweet smoky and balsamic richness with hypnotic depth. It is deep grounding and sensual aiding stress and focus and often associated with abundance, confidence and sensuality.

Agarwood (Oud) – often revered as “liquid gold” in perfumery, is the fragrant heartwood of the Aquilaria tree. Formed when the wood becomes naturally resinous due to a protective response against fungi, Agarwood produces an enchanting, complex aroma: rich, resinous, balsamic, with hints of earth, leather, and subtle sweetness.

Known for centuries across Asia and the Middle East, Agarwood has been cherished in ceremonial and spiritual practices, meditation, and perfumery for its deeply grounding and mystical qualities. Its scent carries a timeless elegance, balancing intensity with ethereal grace, making it a cornerstone of luxurious, resinous fragrances.
