• Orris Butter – The Velvet Soul of Perfumery

  Born from the rhizomes of the Iris pallida, Orris butter is among the rarest treasures in the world of fragrance. Its journey from root to perfume is one of extraordinary patience: the rhizomes are carefully harvested, then left to dry and mature for up to three years. Only through this slow alchemy do they develop the powdery, violet-like aroma that perfumers revere.

  From this aged root, a precious butter is extracted — waxy, creamy, and exquisitely rich. Its scent is at once velvety, floral, and faintly woody, with a powder-soft elegance that has crowned it the “soul” of countless masterpieces throughout perfume history.

  Used since the time of the ancient Greeks and Romans, who prized iris for its fragrance and medicinal virtues, Orris has always symbolized luxury, refinement, and beauty. Today, it remains one of the most expensive raw materials in perfumery, valued not only for its rarity but for the unique depth and texture it brings to a composition.

• Rose Otto (The queen of flowers)

  Rose Otto is one of the most precious essences in perfumery, distilled from the soft, blushing petals of Rosa damascena. Harvested at dawn while the flowers are still cool and heavy with morning dew, thousands of blossoms are gently steam-distilled to yield just a trace of this luminous oil — a process unchanged for centuries.

  Historically, Rose Otto has been revered across cultures. In ancient Persia, roses symbolised divine beauty and were used in sacred rituals and royal gardens. The oil later became a treasured ingredient in Ayurvedic medicine and European apothecaries, prized not only for its fragrance but for its ability to soothe both body and spirit. Cleopatra was said to adorn her chambers with rose petals, while medieval healers considered rose preparations essential for the heart.

  Beyond its romantic legacy, Rose Otto has long been associated with emotional and physical harmony. In traditional practices, it was believed to calm the nervous system, uplift melancholy, and encourage feelings of love and inner peace. On the skin, rose was valued for its gentle toning properties and its ability to nurture sensitive or mature complexions.

• French Cognac - Champagne elegance

  Cognac finds its origin in the sun-drenched vineyards of Cognac, where carefully cultivated white grapes are transformed through a time-honoured process of distillation and aging. Revered as one of the world’s most refined spirits, cognac has long been associated with craftsmanship, patience, and quiet luxury.

  In perfumery, the cognac note captures the soul of this aged elixir—rich, smooth, and fruity spice. It evokes the warmth of oak barrels, the glow of amber liquid, and the soft complexity that develops over time. Both comforting and sophisticated, it lends a subtle depth that feels intimate, enveloping, and quietly opulent.

  Aromatically, cognac-inspired notes are known to evoke a sense of warmth and relaxation. They can help soften the edges of the day, inviting a feeling of ease, presence, and indulgent calm—like a slow exhale at the end of a long, golden evening.

Impériale stems from a desire to create a unique rose. Something traditionally luxurious but with edge. And so I've created a rose liqueur scent. It is a voluptuous, velvet rose without the typical citrus and pink pepper openings that are so over done everywhere.  I've also added some of the most luxurious ingredients in perfumery, from oud, to orris butter and rose otto. I've spared nothing for the crown of my collection.
